The nearest airport is Jolly Grant Airport (DED) in Dehradun, approximately 35 km away. It has good connectivity to major Indian cities like Delhi and Mumbai. Taxis and buses are readily available from the airport to Haridwar.
Haridwar Junction (HW) is a major railway station and is well-connected to most parts of India, including Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Varanasi, by numerous express and passenger trains.
Haridwar has excellent road connectivity. National Highway 7 (NH7) passes through the city. Regular bus services, both state-run and private, operate from Delhi, Chandigarh, Dehradun, Rishikesh, and other nearby towns. Taxis and private cars are also common modes of transport.
