Reaching Imphal: Gateway to Manipur

By air

Imphal is well-connected by air via Bir Tikendrajit International Airport (IMF), also known as Tulihal Airport. It has direct flights from major Indian cities like Delhi, Kolkata, Guwahati, and Bengaluru, making it the most convenient way to reach the city.

By rail

Imphal does not have its own railway station. The nearest major railhead is Dimapur (around 200 km away) in Nagaland, or Guwahati (around 470 km away) in Assam. From these stations, travelers can hire taxis or take buses to reach Imphal.

By road

Imphal is accessible by road via National Highway 2 and National Highway 37, connecting it to neighboring states. Regular bus services operate from Guwahati and Dimapur.
