The nearest airport is Thiruvananthapuram International Airport (TRV), approximately 45-50 km away. From the airport, taxis and pre-paid cabs are readily available to reach Varkala.
Varkala Sivagiri Railway Station (VAK) is well-connected to major cities in Kerala and other parts of India. It's just a short auto-rickshaw or taxi ride from the main cliff area.
Varkala is easily accessible by road, connected by state highways. KSRTC (Kerala State Road Transport Corporation) buses operate regular services from Thiruvananthapuram and Kollam. Taxis and private cars can also be hired.
