The nearest airport is Jorhat (JRH), approximately 20 km away from Nimati Ghat. From Jorhat airport, hire a taxi or auto-rickshaw to Nimati Ghat, then take a ferry to Majuli.
Jorhat Railway Station is the closest railhead. From the station, take a taxi or auto-rickshaw to Nimati Ghat (approx. 14 km), followed by a ferry ride to Majuli.
Majuli is accessed primarily by road to Nimati Ghat (near Jorhat), from where regular ferry services operate to the island. State buses and private taxis connect Jorhat to major cities like Guwahati and Dibrugarh.
