Kalka is the nearest broad-gauge railway station, connected to major Indian cities. From Kalka, the UNESCO World Heritage Kalka-Shimla narrow-gauge railway (Toy Train) offers a scenic 5.5-hour journey to Shimla. Regular taxis and buses also operate from Kalka.
Shimla is well-connected by a network of national and state highways. Regular HRTC (Himachal Road Transport Corporation) and private buses operate from Delhi, Chandigarh, Kalka, and other nearby towns. Self-drive or private taxis are also popular options, offering flexibility.
