The nearest airport is Gaggal Airport (DHM) in Dharamshala, approximately 68 km away. From Gaggal, hire a taxi or take a local bus to reach Bir. Major cities like Delhi have direct flights to Gaggal.
The nearest broad-gauge railway station is Pathankot (about 140 km), which is well-connected to major Indian cities. From Pathankot, you can take a taxi or a bus. A closer, but less convenient, narrow-gauge station is Ahju (3 km), connected to Pathankot via Joginder Nagar.
Bir Billing is well-connected by road to major cities in Himachal Pradesh and North India. Regular state-run and private buses operate from Delhi (approx. 10-12 hours), Chandigarh, and Dharamshala. Taxis are also readily available for hire.
